  • We are also going on the August 6th trip, two grandparents, two parents and two grandsons, age 7 and 10. Although we have been on a number of Tauck trips, we have never been on a Bridges trip. Would love to hear from someone who has been on this trip with grandchildren. Any tips on different things to bring? Are water shoes really necessary? I would have thought that plain ordinary sandals would be fine. Are hiking boots necessary? What about convertible zip-off pants.
  • Laurie,

Glad to hear from someone else taking this trip Aug 6.

My granddaughter will be happy to hear someone her age
    will be traveling with us.

I've only taken one other Tauck trip and that was a Bridges trip
last summer to Costa Rica. I was very impressed with the
way that trip was planned and conducted. Much thought had been given
to the safety and interests of the children.

Cowboy Country should be great fun.

  • Hi,
Couple with an 11 yr old daughter from Ohio. Looking forward to trip, and to meeting everyone.

We are traveling with our 8 year old son, Daniel. We are bringing our water shoes with us since we have them. We are also bringing our light-weight day hiker/sneakers. This is our family's first Tauck trip (I took one with my parents more than 30 years ago) and we are really excited! Looking forward to meeting eveyone!
