French Waterways & Vineyards
I have just completed a 30 Page scrapbook of our recent trip to the French Waterways and Vineyards. It brought back all the charm of the history, beauty and differences of the many towns and villages along the Rhone.
Paris is a vibrant and exciting city. We walked everywhere we could in a few days. The lights on the Eiffel Tower at night were a delightful surprise after dinner at Fouquet's. Our most enjoyable experience was dinner at sunset at Pont Du Gard.
The river boat Swiss Emerald was well appointed and offered comfort after each full day of exploring. Singing with the pianist in the lounge after dinner was a nice way to end each day.
We look forward to our next Tauck trip and we have come to expect the consistent charm, knowledge and experience of the tour guides and directors.
