Barcelona Paradour Trip

Does the Tauck Paradours of Northern Spain trip include a visit to Parc Guell in Barcelona? Or should we plan to see this interesting site on the day before our 10/12/12 trip starts?

We are on this trip as I write. No, the tour does not include this. If it is a nice day, be sure to go there. We did not go as the afternoon we planned to go, it poured rain, and we were already soaked from our morning activities. By the way, this is a great trip, but my clothes are shrinking as we progress from one fabulous eating experience to the next! Be sure to bring loose clothing!

We are also on the October 12 tour and are arriving two nights early. What other venues should we plan to visit?

A wonderful venue to visit is Palau de la Musica. We toured the Palau and it was stunning.

La Boqueria is a fantastic and huge market that is well worth a visit. Sagrada Familia is a must see. Parc Gruell is marvelous. Barri Gotic is the Gothic Quarter and a wonderful area to wander.

We booked a tapas and wine tour that began at 6:30 pm. We booked it through Spanish Trails before we left home. It was a fabulous introduction to the various tapas and wines. Our guide took us to four different quarters within walking distance from the hotel ( which is very centrally located). It was a blast! We also did this in San Sebastián through the hotel concierge. It was so much fun to see how the locals have some food, some wine, some conversation, and move on to the next place!
