rain gear , mosquitoes and clothing

We will be going on the February tour, just wondering whether it is rainy season in India? Also, are mosquitoes rampant in most cities that we will be visiting or just those in the South? So would it be necessary to wear long sleeves clothing for the whole trip?
Would appreciate any input .

    Hi Tyrol,

    I just googled ... malaria zones India ... and there were a number of sites with maps, so you should be able to find what you need easily.

    I also googled ... rainy season India (I was on a roll) ... and again there are a number of sites. Looks like pre-monsoon (who knew?) is April to June and monsoon season is June to September.

    Hope you find some research leads.

    Personally, if I were on your trip, the mozzies would all be biting me, so you would probably be fine.
