Canyonlands - Scottsdale and Vegas recommendations
This is my Bucket List trip! I'm so excited about doing it (June 27 - July 3, 2011) that I'll be spending several days in Scottsdale prior to joining the Tauck group on Monday evening and would appreciate ideas on what to do while in that area - are there any sightseeing tours, shopping or special events that I shouldn't miss? I realize the tour goes through Sedona but wonder if there's enough time there or is Sedona so interesting that spending a day there on my own might be advisable. I'm also tacking on three extra days in Vegas and hope to see one or two of the Cirque du Soleil shows (Love and/or O). Other (more reasonably priced) recommendations are certainly welcome since my credit card will probably be maxed out after taking the highly recommended Monument Valley flight tour and all of my other extras ;-) Thanks for any suggestions!
