Cell phone service

How is cell phone service on Spirit of the Desert generally? In the canyons?

    I'll answer my own question since we just returned. Those of us with Verizon had excellent service, with one or two exceptions. AT&T users did not fare so well. They had little to no reception. I can't say about any other services.

    I experienced about the same a few years ago on a similar tour. If I was outside with my Verizon service I could make calls. A lot of the rest of the people on the tour had trouble. I did not ask what service they had. I had hoped it would be better, because I now have AT&T and am planning on this tour in a few years.

    Mmm, Verizon, you say? That's interesting. Perhaps a shoe would do as well.
