dressing for August cruise

Our Tauck tour book recommends 'resort casual' dress. My husband would like to know if it's acceptable to wear jeans on the land excursions as they travel much better than slacks that have to be pressed!

    I would say that Jeans are fine for touring, but tell him to bring a pair of dockers and collared shirt for dinner. My DH always wears dockers since they don't wrinkle. He never takes slacks.

    Thank you, Sheila, that's good. He tends to dress as he did in the 50s in college; his daughter calls us "the preppy and the hippy." :) But those are high-maintenance clothes for traveling . . .
