Intra-China Flights: Upgrade to First?

Does anyone know if one can pay and upgrade to First Class on intra-China flights? I know these flights have to be purchased through Tauck. If anyone has done so, what are the increased costs and are the seats like domestic US First class? Thanks for any input.

    I wouldn't think it was even worthwhile. The flights are not very long, and they feed everyone full meals on every flight, even the 2 hour ones.
