We are going on the Nov 7 tour and arriving a day early.
Does anyone have ideas on how to spend our pre-tour day in Hanoi?

I've been told it will hot and humid in all 3 countries. Other than the day we visit a temple, does anyone know a reason I shouldn't plan to wear shorts?

Any word on how the Thailand flooding will affect us? I'm not getting any answers from Tauck.

    I took this tour last year. It's a long flight and we just relaxed of a day but their are many shops and sites near the hotel. no reason not to wear shorts. Bangkok might be a little wet by the time you get there the water might be lower

    Hi Carol,

    As of today, the International Airport in Bangkok (BKK) is still open and none of our tours have been affected. Thus we are operating our trips as per their scheduled itineraries.
