Quito Ecuador question -- leaving soon!

Hi, we're on the Galapagos trip arriving in Quito on Dec 24. Are we going to be able to see the Equator on Sunday since it's Xmas? My family is arriving a day early so we'll try to go Dec 24 if it's not part of the Tauck tour on Xmas day.

    Yes, you should be visiting the Equatorial Monument and Ethnographic Museum on the second day of your tour — or December 25th. I hope you have a fun time on your trip!
