Hotel Early Check in?

We will arrive Amsterdam a day early in the morning. Will the Sofitel hotel allow early check in?

    Hi Drumeller,

    The Sofitel hotel does not normally allow early check in; however, if the room is ready and available, they will allow it.

    Why don't you drop off your luggage with the Sofitel bellcaptain and go sightseeing. We do it all over the World.

    We arrived in Amsterdam about 8:30 in the morning and were picked up and taken to the Sofitel. The hotel staff stashed our luggage and had a room set-up for all of the early arrivers with coffee, cokes, cookies, etc. There was a nice restroom close by. We took a 3.5 hour walking tour after lunch and just enjoyed the wonderful city of Amsterdam. Our room (gorgeous room) was ready about 3 or 4. We cleaned up and went to dinner at a great Indonesian Rice Table restaurant suggested by the hotel concierge. We purposely avoided taking naps so we could adjust to Amsterdam time (it worked!).
