Northern Spain: Barcelona to Porto - Question re: Basílica de la Sagrada Família
My husband and I will be on the Northern Spain: Barcelona to Porto tour in 2027. I see on the itinerary that there's a city tour of Barcelona with a stop at the Basílica de la Sagrada Família. For those who have been on this tour, does Tauck actually take you into the Basilica for a tour or is it more of a drive by? Thanks for any info you can provide.

When I took that trip a few years ago, we did stop and visit Sagrada Familia.
I concur with Goddess. We had a tour that covered both the outside (up close to see the carvings over the doors) and the inside.
When I took this tour, a few years back we sopped and visited the Sagrada Familia.
We just took this trip . Tauck is no longer going to Sagrada Família . Our tour director told us it was because of the large crowds and the pickpocketing
You have to be kidding me! So we have to do it ourselves, did they tell you in advance! We go next year!
@British - If you decide to get a local tour guide, I used one a couple of years ago in Barcelona and would recommend him.
I'll go ahead and put his name in. Javier of Barcelona Tour Guide - www.barcelonaprivatetourguide.com
[Looks like the price has gone up quite a bit. I paid a lot less than what the website quotes now.]
Thanks, I’ll copy the link!
