We're travelling on the December 19th tour and last week I emailed each of the hotels in which we are staying along the route. All replied with the exception of Peppers in Port Douglas and in general they all charge for wi-fi access - and the charges seem high.
One or two of the NZ locations said that they offered restricted access in public areas for 20 minutes per day. Most of the OZ locations wanted AU$15-25 per day!
Looks like we'll be drinking a fair bit if coffee...
