1. On the 20Sept2011 China Westbound trip, I was checking and on day 6 Sunday 25Sept I noticed our day does not begin till "later afternoon.... What are we doing that morning?
2. I am an animal lover and wonder if we will be seeing any of those "china" bears while we are there (I cannot think of the proper name for them)?

No, we did not have an opportunity to see the pandas. I asked our Tauck guide why the tour did not include this and he said it is because China's zoos are not as good as American zoos, and many Americans would be upset to see the living conditions of the animals.
There is a panda sanctuary in Chengdu, but Tauck does not go there.
