Planning on bringing mostly black slacks,capris,skirts,etc. with mix/match easy care tops. Would a white blue jean style jacket be acceptable for cooler days?
Certainly a white jacket would be appropriate assuming it can be worn with several of your planned tops. If not, you might want to rethink the color.
Re capris and skirts, you might want to double check the weather forecast for the areas you'll be in and decide if you'll get enough wear out of them vs pants.
We're on the Rhine/Moselle later this fall and I'm not taking any skirts or dresses for it. Just a nice pair of slacks and 1-2 glitzy tops. The rest of the time it will be black or dark denim pants and nice but casual tops. Lots of scarves - lightweight, easy way to change up an outfit.
Remember, every unneeded garment is one less souvenir to bring back.
