Boat Cruises in Varanasi

Here is a question for anyone who has recently been on this tour. My husband and I will be going in November. The River Ganges at Varanasi is very polluted. I have seen photos of small wooden boats in the river. What type of boat does the Tauck group use for its night and sunrise cruises?

    It's a good sturdy boat. Don't worry. Just don't jump up and down too much taking pictures. It is a wonderful trip

    I went last October and the Varanassi experience is very profound. The boats are fine, really solid wood. You will really enjoy those trips.
