We are traveling on this trip in December. Does anyone know if high altitude medication is recommended for this trip? We needed it in Peru when we went to Machu Picchu but I am not sure whether we will need it again.

    The Andes at crossing are much lower elevation. You will definately not need to worry about altitudes. Have a fun trip. I did this trip last year. The Crossing is wonderful but Igazu Falls still top of my list! Stunning.
