I toured the Candaian Rockies a few years ago. At that time, my friends and I extended our stay in Calgary. Banff is a small community and we felt that there was more that we wanted to see in Calgary. We took a city tour one afternoon. On the full day there we traveled outside of the city to tour some of the "Native and cowboy" culture of the area. Since I am fascinated by history, we visited a place called Head Smashed Buffalo Jump. It sounds gross but it was a spot where the Native People hunted buffalo in ancient times. We also visited a ranch where the Sundance Kid had once worked.
