    Hello!

(Please note the following information is provided solely for guidance. You must consult with your physician for current requirements and recommended health precautions. We are not qualified to make recommendations as to the immunizations. That said...)

If you are a citizen of the U.S., no vaccinations are required for entry directly from the U.S. into Peru. (Proof of Yellow Fever Inoculation is required if you enter into Peru directly from an infected area.) You are NOT required to obtain a Certificate of Yellow Fever Inoculation to enter Bolivia, as you will enter Bolivia on this itinerary via bus from Puno, Peru, to Copacabana, Bolivia, areas in which Yellow Fever is not endemic.

If you are not from the US, you should contact an embassy or consulate of Peru and of Bolivia to determine what vaccinations may be required for you to visit.

Information on health, safety, what to pack, and other similar topics can be found on the tour itinerary page, in the Need to Know section at bottom. The relevant health information can be found under the "Preparing to Go" section.

    Best,
    Tim
  • We went on this tour on May 2011 and did not need the yellow fever one.
  • This message string was posted in July of 2011. Is the information still current? Will we be required to have yellow fever inoculation certification before we enter Bolivia or not? The response below suggests that it will NOT be required since we will not be coming from any infected areas while on this tour.
