I posted these links to my reviews in a different area of Tauck forum, so hope it is okay to post them again here since it sounds like others have found them useful in planning their trips.

My wife and I took two back-to-back Tauck tours, "Paradors of Northern Spain" followed by "Spain and Portugal" in 2012. We had absolutely wonderful experience! So many great sights, fun foods, friendly people, lasting memories. All with the organization and quality that Tauck is known for.

I thought it might be helpful to post the details of our trip for anyone who is considering either one of these tours.

    Peregrinator---I read your review several months ago and printed it up. I think it will be especially helpful for our extra day on our own in Barcelona along with our trusty Rick Steves. We will be on the Sept 6 tour. Have already done Spain and Portugal.

    We've found Rick Steves books very helpful for planning our extra pre- and post-trip days, as well as figuring out how we want to spend our free time during the tour.
