IMHO it’s the photographer not the equipment. I have owned some fairly expensive prosumer equipment and can’t come close to Quirky Eye’s fabulous pix.1 -

We used Tours by Locals in Milan on Rhine Enchantment. More expensive than Viator but smaller more intimate groups. Based on our one experience in Milan I recommend Tours by Locals1 -
