This was our first Tauck journey 22 years ago and we loved it. Looking at the current itinerary, they have made some changes to the original trip. Our trip was entirely by bus and we started in Lisbon. From there we headed south to the Algarve and stayed at a beautiful ocean front hotel. The rest of the trip is similar but no AVE train. We visited Toledo on the way up to Madrid. The hotel in Seville, Alfonso XIII is beautiful and quite old. We were in Madrid on Columbus Day and that day is a "big deal" in Spain. The Tauck hotel was on the street where the parade took place and we were lucky to get a room with a balcony facing the parade. Have fun!!!
