Anyone Recently Taken This Trip?

I'd love to get some insights on Venice and the Dalmatian Coast small ship tour from recent travelers, if anyone has something they'd like to share!

I found information on this trip by a travel agent who was on it in 2019. Shawnpower.com/venice tauck tour

We looked at that cruise but chose the Tauck land tour of the same area - mainly becasue it went to places that the cruise didn't. The problem with a cruise is that it has to land at a port and the excursions have to be within a reasonable distance of that port. The land tour is a bit more free as far as what you can see. You can see our 2019 blog of that trip at https://www.mikeandjudytravel.com/2019-2Adriatic-01.htm

Just returned from the treasures of the Adriatic (land tour of the Dalmatian coast).. Other than the heat in late June, the trip was wonderful. We don't do cruises because we find them very limiting on the interesting "land" sites we can visit during free time. Even so, the land tour includes many day trips on boats because most of the sites are on the islands of the Adriatic. The coastline is spectacular. we have been to Venice before, so we skipped the pre-arranged tour and opted for a Vaporetto (water ferry...not taxi) down the Grand Canal and a day trip on our own to Murano and Burano. We only had 1 1/2 days so unfortunately we we did not have more time to explore the "alleys". If this is your first time, get a good guidebook and enjoy.
