Tanzania: Which trip is best?

I'm trying to decide between "Serengeti to Zanzibar" and "Grand Family Safari" in Tanzania. Any advice about which is better? My initial thought is that the Grand Family Safari might get a bit tedious, but I don't know enough about Zanzibar to judge whether it's worth going there.

    Are you taking your familiy? The Grand Family Safari is a "Bridges" tour so its activities are geared towards families and their children. What do you mean, "tedious," what are you looking for, what are your expectations? The Serengeti to Zanzibar tour goes further west, further into the heart of the Serengeti.

    I haven't looked at the Grand Family Safari itinerary, but I did do Kenya & Tanzania and then Zanzibar on my own for a week this past October. What I can tell you is that being on safari NEVER gets tedious. It is awe inspiring to see those animals in their natural habitat. I cannot wait to go back to Africa in March.
