September weather
Hi. We are doing the small group Egypt and Jordan tour starting 9/18/23. Anyone else done this trip in September? Was it brutally hot? Any other tips regarding weather, bugs etc…..? TY!

It was 105-107 Sept 2022 in Luxor. Suggest neck cooling scarves and a portable fan along with other sun requirements.

FWIW, I went in November and temps were tolerable, besides Abu Simbel which was very hot.
I took this tour in December---the weather was glorious!
I have found electrolyte packets to be helpful when traveling in hot climates. I just carry a few in my backpack or purse and it is easy to mix into bottled water. I used them a few times in both Egypt and Jordan.
I would suggest you change the date, it’s too hot in September.
