Veranasi, India is a pilgrimage city. 50,000 or so pilgrims arrive and depart each day on a one night visit. As a typical "Pilgrim" in Varanasi, one only spends one night at the hotel. The "Best in Varanasi" hotel features the smallest room on the tour at 256 sq ft. But not to worry, you will not be in the room very long, less than 6 hours or so on the one night there. One gets back late from "Putting the Ganges to Sleep Ceremony" and up very early to "Wake Up the Ganges" the next morning. And I only had the Tauck carry duffle bag with me that was in my room when I arrived.
