Mackinac Island carriage tour
I am scheduled to take this tour in early October. For anyone that has taken this tour, do you recall if the Tauck provided carriage tour goes out to Arch Rock. Trying to decide if I should book a separate carriage ride.

I took the horse-drawn carriage ride in Oct '22 as part of Tauck's Great Lakes tour. It was great fun but short and did not venture far from the hotel. I do recall there being another option that ventured farther out on the island, but I'm not sure if it went to the place you indicated.
Excursions can change. You might wish to contact Tauck and ask for clarification.
Thank you. I did check with Tauck before posting this and they didn't know. I may decide to skip the Tauck carriage ride and just book my own. There is one that will let you select your stops.
Sounds great. I would love to return there and stay at the hotel. We only had time for the carriage ride and lunch, which we thought was quite nice. Have a wonderful time and please consider posting a review upon your return.
We were on the Michigan tour last year and took the carriage tour. It did not go to Arch Rock. The driver does have some discretion on the route. Our driver took us to see an area that was special to his family.
My wife and I took this tour last month, and we did stop at Arch Rock. The driver stopped the carriage and we were able to get out to see it.
When we did this trip a couple of years ago, the carriage tour did go there and stopped for a bit so everyone could view and photograph it.
Thank you all for responding.
