Any packing suggestions for this trip? How formal are the dinners?
Hi April! My husband and I along with two other couples are on this sailing and arriving a day early. One couple is staying at the Tauck hotel.
From what I have read, guests do dress up for dinner, however although sports coats for men is mentioned, it’s not required and a suggestion. You will see some guests dressed more formal than others.

Daytime attire is casual for both men and women. Most people do dress-up for dinner. For men, it's dress slacks and a dress shirt. Lots of men do add a sport coat. For women, it's dress slacks/skirts and a nice top or a dress/jumpsuit. I pack dinner clothes that are silky and wrinkle resistant. My rule of thumb is I pack what I would wear to a restaurant with tablecloths/crystal and well-dressed servers in the city. Personally, I wouldn't be comfortable if the servers were better dressed than me.
Keep in mind, the dinner clothes are only worn for a couple of hours, so they can easily be worn again.
