How does the included dinners at leisure work at the FAIRMONT hotels? Do we go to any restaurant? Do we need a reservation?
This description in the itinerary is confusing for first time travelers with Tauck.

    The TD will provide you with a list of included restaurants and book the time you want to eat.

    I took this fabulous tour quite some time ago. The Fairmont properties are destinations in their own right! Yes, you can pick your own restaurant (unless that has changed) and depending on what time you wish to dine, you may not need a reservation. Your tour director will let you know and will sometimes ask for your meal preference in advance should there be a limited choice of entrees. Hopefully someone with more recent and direct experience will offer input.

    Is there a dollar limit for each meal

    No dollar limit when it is on Tauck. Usually a starter, entree and dessert is included.

    In addition to no dollar limit, there were times we ordered from the regular menu, not a set menu. We were on a small group tour; perhaps things have changed. We are not late diners; I do not recall having to make reservations in advance. Let the host/hostess know you are with Tauck and give them your room number.

    If anyone is taking the “even smaller” group tour, I would love to hear your thoughts afterwards.
    It’s a fabulous tour and one I will surely take again. Enjoy.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor.
