Botswana Zambia and Capetown
We arrived at the Royal Livingstone lodge in Zambia, Africa this evening. The business class flight from the west coast was just 15 hours! Our flight left SFO on Qatar Airways and we stayed overnight at the Oryx hotel in Doha, Qatar. The business class lounges in Doha were amazing with amazing food choices. The Oryx transit hotel was a little difficult to find but well worth it for a good nights sleep. Our travel continued the next day for another 7 hour flight from Doha to Lusaka, Zambia. We had to pick up our Tauck duffle bags and go with immigration and re-check our luggage again for a one hour flight from Lusaka to Livingstone. We planed a few hours tomorrow at the Elephant Cafe where we will have a up close and personal experience with African elephants. Our tour begins on Saturday. The best is yet to come.

You got that right!!!
What kind of aircraft did you fly from DOHA to Lusaka? How long was the layover in Lusaka? How was the Lusaka airport? A lot of people don't know that Lusaka is the capital and largest city of Zambia.
Did you fly Proflight to Livingstone? Pretty small aircraft?
I would certainly be interested in those flights too. We plan to take that tour in the near futuristic and Qatar is bow our favorite airline.
How long was the layover in Doha?
We stayed in an Oryx hotels one time, but did not realize there are two, we tried to check into the wrong one at first.
