We have used several travel agents to book 20 Tauck tours and have not had a problem.
For the last year and a half we have used Pavlus for our Tauck and Ponant bookings with great service and no issues.
The rebate from Pavlus on Tauck tours if you book air through them is a nice bonus. Really wish we had known about it years ago.
As to communicating directly with Tauck that has never been an issue for us even booking thru agencies.
