Rhine & Mosell Sept 30

We are considering the Rhine and Moselle cruise for Sept 30, 2026. Has anyone taken this in previous year at this date. We are trying to avoid summer crowds, but I don't know what to expect for weather this late.

    Like any shoulder season you could get very lucky with the weather. We did in in mid/late Oct hoping for Indian Summer but got cooler temps and some rain. But we also got beautiful fall colors and yes the crowds weren't bad though Amsterdam is almost always busy. The Moselle is filled with vineyards so it was particularly pretty then.
