Emergency Number for Travel Delays?
If my flight is delayed or there are transportation transfer problems, is there a 24 hour emergency number to call?

Yes, it is in your final documents.
As Alan said. There is the phone numbers for Tauck as well as the number for the local transport service. If you print nothing else from your final tour documents, print the page that has those numbers.
We have just printed our final documents for an upcoming tour. There is a lot more detail about numbers and also how to make instruments claims than in past booklets.
We print the document so they are exactly like the old ‘green books’. Uses a lot less paper and way less room in your documents folder for your travel. I have no idea how to do it, as my husband does it. Thanks to I think it was either Claudia or Alan who posted instruction on how to do this quite some time ago.
I put these phone numbers in my phone so if I need to call, the emergency phone numbers as well as the Tauck main numbers are right there. I do the same with hotels, airlines, etc. I scan my passport and also put it on my phone under the “hidden” password protected section on the iPhone.
Folks, please read all the information that Tauck sends you. There is a lot of good stuff in there and will enhance your experience on the tour.
We have been on Tauck tours where people have been denied entry into countries because of visa issues.
Yes, it was Claudia, I may have helped some, if only to confirm it worked.
It has been (too) long since I made one, but if any one cares, you do it like I did. You can start with any document, I used MS Word and made a customized itinerary and added photos from the web of what we are likely to see on any given day, on alternating pages. Once done I converted it to a PDF file to print a ‘booklet’ on 8 1/2 X 11 paper, dual-sided. Adobe does its magic sequencing the pages so the final doc is a 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 booklet with left hand pages covered in photos and the right hand with one with the itinerary. You may need to mess with the font size. It is something to do on a cold winter’s night
Yes, use Adobe Acrobat (free version fine) then select dual sided printing and Booklet.
Note: while the Tauck emergency phone number stays the same, the transfer service phone number is specific to that tour/country.
