Vaccines for Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda safari

Hi All....heading on this safari at the end of July. Does anyone know what vaccines we need to have? I have already received the yellow fever vaccination and checked the CDC website. Any further tips?
TIA

Check with your primary care doctor or a travel doctor familiar with Africa trips. Along with yellow fever, I got a typhoid, polio and one other. Each person is different based on what vaccines they have had and what might need to be boosted.

We also got Hep A and B. They are multi dose vaccines given several months apart

Checking with your PCP about what vaccines may need boosters it’s important. As we are preparing to leave in June,we used Passport clinic.Very comprehensive review and recommendations. We went there at the recommendation of our PCP to get YF vaccine. We also were recommended Polio vaccine as well as Meningitis vaccine.Compared to the total cost of the whole trip the cost of their services is minimal. We also took oral typhoid and have Rx for Malaria.Me and my husband are not that young and came through the vaccinations with minimal side effects. We did look for other places such as Costco and Walgreens ;our local stores did not have YF vaccine.BTW we both are retired physicians and highly appreciated the service at Passport Clinic near us.

BTW the reason for Polio vaccine is there is a resurgence in the areas covered by the trip; Meningitis is mosquito transmitted and was recommended.

We were vaccinated for yellow fever at our county health department. The cost was about half of the price I was quoted at the closest commercial travel clinic.
