The Bayeux tapestry is no longer on display. . It is being prepared to move to England. I was on this trip in July and went to Etreat and Honfleur. I enjoyed this option very much. I made the suggestion that Tauck extend the trip so we could visit both areas.
We did this trip in May and chose the Memorial & Bayeux, as Normandy was the whole reason we booked this trip, so we felt we needed to see the museum - we are glad we did . . . BUT, since the Tapestry is no longer available to view (it was pretty amazing), I would choose Etretat & Honfleur now. It was a wonderful tour/cruise. The Abbey on the way back to Paris was a highlight.
