No worries! We had a hotel change one week prior to our departure for Tauck's Tour of Cuba. There is always a good reason for change!
One door closes for a better one to open, and that goes for schedule changes too. It’s a wonderful tour. I did it this year on May.
This tour seems to have had many changes and different hotels since we took the tour when it was very new.
And they still haven't posted 2027 yet, so still making changes.
Appears the Lecce hotel is closed
We just returned from this trip. Our understanding is that the hotel in Lecce closed unexpectedly due to a new owner and renovations. As usual, Tauck went out of their way to find another accommodation that was of Tauck standards. In addition, our tour director went out of her way to make everything right so that the change had minimal impact.
We had issues at Lecce hotel last year, so good to hear it’s closed. Had cold showers each day due to lack of hot water —- no fun! And hotel did nothing to remedy. So sounds like a true blessing that it’s closed and being renovated.
