New Zealand: A North & South Island Adventure

Greetings,
My husband and I are interested in this tour for 2026. With only a few dates available, we’ll need to make a decision very soon. For those who have gone on this tour, how did you like it? Any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Marilyn

  • We are taking this tour in January. We went with them years ago on the Spotlight on New Zealand tour. It goes to some places we have not been. Sad it doesn’t go back to Wellington because there is a lot to see and do there. Also, Queenstown is a pain to start the tour at. Luckily, we managed to get the flights with air miles. A good tour to do to get away from some of our NE winter

  • British - Philly might be considered more mid-Atlantic than NE, but your point is valid for lots of the country in winter.

New Zealand is very scenic and lots of fun. Be sure to do the Shooter River Jet Boat ride. 😁

  • Sam did the Shotover River speed boat last trip. You know I have no problem going back to places I’ve been before.

  • British, which airline are you using for the New Zealand trip that you were able to use miles. I find it more and more difficult to fly international with miles.

  • We used American, apart from the flight at the end of the tour when we have to get from Queenstown to Auckland. (And we had to pay for that flight….what a pain to end a tour there.) It took a phone call to the airline to organize it all. It sure will be nice since our last trip to New Zealand was only on Premium Economy which was all we could afford at the time. Don’t ask me where we are flying to, my husband booked it all and I haven’t focused on the trip yet.
