Romantic Rhine for Tulips?
We noticed that the Romantic Rhine trip has an option for an April departure from Amsterdam. Can anyone comment on the potential to see tulips on that trip? Has Tauck done any tulip viewing on this before? We realize Tulip time is mercurial, but thought we'd check in with the experts here. Thanks for any thoughts! Happy Travels.

I believe Tauck still has a springtime river cruise that takes you to Keukenhof Gardens. That tour would be preferential for viewing tulips. Check their website for details.
With pre/post tour days in Amsterdam, you can arrange your own transportation to the Garden.
If you choose pre/post days in Amsterdam, google transportation from Amsterdam to Keukenhof Gardens. There are many choices and I highly recommend you go early in the morning. Tauck took us from the hotel and we encountered a great deal of traffic which limited our time seeing the gardens.
Also, your hotel’s concierge can assist with transportation options.
For 2026 the April 8th cruise maybe a little early for tulips but many of the other flowers will be beginning to bloom. The average peak is the mid month to late month of April. The cruise on the 22nd would be perfect. Very easy day trip from Amsterdam with multiple options. In 2025, our Tauck Keukenhof garden day visit was on the 18th and it was perfect. We came in early to Amsterdam on 4/6 and the flowers tulips were just starting to bloom. The extra 12 days made a huge difference. Around May 1, they will start dead heading the tulips in the fields.

There is a tour company called Tours&Tickets that has a slew of bus excursions from Central Station including one to Keukenhof with a stop at a tulip farm that we took a few years ago. I recommend it. We also took a day trip to Bruges with them as well. Here's their link: https://www.tours-tickets.com/bus-tours/. They have ticket office in several places in the city as well as one at the back of Central Station where the buses depart from.
