    They are worn over regular leg clothing, you just need one pair.

    Yes, one pair is all you need. Often, the bottom will get white spots from dried salt but you can wash that off in the sink if it bothers you. I'm in Antarctica right now. 64°29'25"S, 61°45'21"W this morning.
