Costa Rican currency amount
I tried to find this answer on the forums but couldn’t. I’m curious if people brought Costa Rican currency and how much? We have some here left over from our last CR trip, but it is equivalent to about $10 USD. I know we aren’t in CR long, but if we are at a small village or see a street artist, we like to support local economy with local currency. Just curious what others brought. Thanks in advance for your insights.

Give it to the TD or an outstanding barman or whatever
I was actually curious how much local currency people brought to CR on the Panama/Costa Rica trip. Not what to do with the small amount we have here. Basically, should I get more or are there really no opportunities to support local during our CR days, therefore no need for additional currency. I know leftover cash can be given to TD, donated, use for tips.
Are you a big spender or not, I have no clue to help you. But I took the tour years ago, I hope it had been changed since. There were issues that several of us had with that tour.
