Hi Natalie, when I went on the Spirit of the West Tauck Tour, I discovered that I did not like the small planes at all. At first I thought I could just tolerate it. I did the first small plane trip, then asked the tour director, could I go on the bus with the bus driver for the second small plane trip? She checked and said I could, but the bus driver told me that there was major construction on part of the route and we’d be sitting for awhile on the bus. I decided to go on the plane again. They make me anxious and nauseous. I feel like I am trying to hold my breath the whole time. Kind of like a scary amusement ride that my husband loves and I do not. All the luggage and bus has to get to the next destination so if I were you, I’d ask Tauck about taking the bus.
