Flight question
We're booked on this river cruise for September, 2026. Cruise starts in Marseille, but we've found a good non-stop flight from Atlanta to Nice. Will Tauck pick us up in Nice and transfer us to the hotel in Marseille? Thanks for helping.

Have you called Tauck to find out?
Here's the wording, from your itinerary, relative to arrival transfer. There is no mention of a Nice option, but you can call Tauck and see what they say.
It's a bit of a drive, but if the flight is so good even if Tauck doesn't provide a Nice pickup option you might arrange something on your own.
We were looking at this previously but opted for a different river cruise with Tauck. However, I did look into staying in Nice and then going to Marseille. If Tauck doesn't offer a transfer and you can get a direct flight out of Atlanta, I would opt for the great flight arrangement and grab the TGV from Nice to Marseille. It is supposedly one of the most scenic train rides. You would need to make a reservation. I would recommend first class and to get the best views if it is a twin deck, sit on the upper deck on the left side(costal side) which can be tricky to figure out. If I recall correctly you can either take a taxi to the Nice Ville station or I am pretty sure the TGV stops at the station adjacent to the Nice airport.
Nice is 123 miles from Marseille
We are going to be on that river cruise in September too. We will be flying Atlanta to London to spend a few days with family in the UK before taking a flight from London to Marseilles. Your plan to fly directly to Nice would avoid changing flights at some of the busy European hubs.
