Many of the boats have converted to StarLink which gives good Interent access. Some still use the local Cell phone system which can be slow, especially when a lot of people are attempting to access the Internet. Additionally, the boat can go through a cell phone dead zone and you won't have any Internet access during that time.
You could contact Tauck and ask how Internet access is provided on the boat you will be on.
