Patagonia in December

I’ve never really considered Patagonia, but lately my interest has grown. Does remote equal rustic? December sounds like springtime, true?

    No, it’s reverse of the US. We’ve been there twice and love it. The weather can be a challenge, the winds can be particularly fierce

    This is a great tour. December is summer. You will find a lot of websites discussing pros and cons of what month to choose. I recommend that you read through previous posts on this forum, as many have shared their experiences.

    Really looking forward to our December 3 Patagonia tour. It appears to be our year for glaciers—we leave for Scandinavia on June 1!

    JanP - I had the same experience. Did Scandinavia in summer and Patagonia over Xmas and got to visit two glacier museums the same year!
