Recent Jewels of the Nile Travelers --
I have a couple of questions for recent travelers on the Jewels of the Nile tour.
What do you see in the Valley of the Queens? Do you get to visit Queen Nefertari's tomb? (I read it had been closed for upkeep and now had limited access.)
Do you get to see Hatshepsut's Temple?
When you go to the Valley of the Kings after hours is there time to visit more than King Tut's tomb? Do you get to see any of the Ramses tombs or Seti Tomb, for example?
They used to have Saqqara on the itinerary but have taken it off - I think to add time for the GEM. I will have a free day before the tour starts - is Saqqara worth a visit? Do you know if Viator tours are safe in Cairo for female travelers (there will be two of us) or is a better bet to hire a private driver?
I appreciate your thoughts and understand things may have changed since you were there.
Thanks

If you are really into Ancient Egypt, Saqqara is a must. I believe Nefertari's tomb is closed to the public now.
