Christmas
Anyone been or going on this cruise? We are sailing on 12/22. Traveled with Scenic last year on the Danube which was excellent but trying Tauck as they offer suites so our daughter can come with us. Plan to stay one day prior in Belgium and another in Amsterdam post cruise so we can see Anne Frank's house. Interested what they do on Christmas for the cruise.

We did this cruise over Christmas a few years ago. They will have many fun activities planned on the ship on Christmas Day. I don't want to spoil it for you. Just a suggestion - bring a fun Christmas outfit to wear. (either dressy or funny, they all fit in) Enjoy!
We also did this tour over the Christmas holiday and had a wonderful time. The ship is beautifully decorated and every day was filled with fun festivities and off-ship cultural events. We were served special dinners on both 24 and 25 Dec.

I understand Tauck is dropping this tour next year.
I had reported in an earlier thread that 2026 would be the final sailing for this tour. Based on the very positive reviews, it surely isn’t because the cruise was inadequate. My theory is that because the tour is not heavily focused on holiday markets, as are the Rhine and Danube tours, it perhaps did not meet expectations of those who only wish to visit markets.
I specifically chose this tour because it was not market-centric. I would gladly take it again if still offered.
This would be the only tour that appealed to me too, hope it comes back
I agree with kfnkfnzk. It was a wonderful tour and I would definitely repeat it. Hopefully, they consider bringing it back.
Hey...FYI - it looks like this tour is back in 2028!!! It's listed on Tauck's site and taking reservations for 2028. I'm not sure why no 2027 dates and if anything major is changing for 2028, but at least it looks like it's offered again.
I checked the website yesterday before writing my note and the 2028 comments were not there. Then last night they were!
I’m thrilled but cautiously optimistic. Reading between the lines—which I shouldn’t do—it appears they are revamping the itinerary. Time will tell.
