Hidden Greece fall 2026

I'll be taking this trip in a couple of months. Reviewing the itinerary I have a question re the side trip to Hydra. I'm thinking I'd rather spend the extra time in Athens proper. There didn't seem to be anything special about Hydra. What is the opinion of anybody haven taken this trip or any other that included visiting Hydra

    Funny. I actually chose this trip because of the visit to Hydra, a lovely island where Leonard Cohen lived and wrote some of his best songs to his lovely Marianne.
