Rhine Connoisseur Cruise Sept. 27, 2026 - Northbound

We were signed up for the Rhine Connoisseur: Lake Geneva to Belgium tour starting Sept. 27. On Sept. 18 we received notice of a change of itinerary. Option 1 is to cruise from Basel to Strasbourg. We would then leave Strasbourg and take a three-hour bus ride, have lunch someplace, then a four-and-a-half hour bus ride to a dock near Dusseldorf. The exact location of that dock could be two hours away from Dusseldorf. Then we would continue on a different boat as originally planned. Option 2 is to cancel the reservation for a full itinerary refund less the cost of the Cruise Protection Plan.

We had until Sept. 22 to let Tauck know what option we want. We selected Option 2. We received the refund amount today, Sept. 24.
