Transit through Nairobi Airport

we had our return flight booked through KLM from Kigali to AMS on 10/19; KLM cancelled flight on 10/19.We had to rebook with Kenya airlines transiting through Nairobi airport.Connection time is only an hour and five minutes; both flights are in the same terminal.Any one has experience thru this air port?Delta assured me there should be enough time!

’Should be!’ So what if it isn’t. Nairobi is an airport I have tried to avoid.

Well,I am concerned and thinking of all the possibilities!Trip was arranged thru Delta.The only other option we have is to stay another day in Kigali.We still would have the same problem if KLM cancels the flight!

when we left from Kigali we used Qatar air which of course is not really advisable because of the war.
