My mom, sister, and I are going on the K and T trip beginning Oct. 19. I have read through most discussions now for that trip, but have a few questions I'm hoping someone may be able to answer for me. How much cash do you think is necessary for spending money on the trip? Is it possible to pay the tour director's tip by Venmo instead of cash or is cash the gold standard? I heard that there are no tsetse flies when it rains, so does that mean a black rain jacket is ok or do I need to buy a rain jacket that is neutral? Thanks for any feedback!
